ABOUT ME

I´m here to help you get to know your ancestors

I began my journey in my early 20s, eager to explore my own family history, and it quickly sparked a deep passion for helping others uncover their own lineage.

Raised in Germany, I am a native German speaker and have lived in Sweden for 18 years, becoming fluent in Swedish. I am also fluent in English and spend time in the U.S. each year with my American husband.

My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Nordic archaeology and a master’s in laboratory archaeology. I have also studied archival and information science, as well as genealogy. Currently, I work as an archivist for a government agency in Värmland, Sweden.

With over a decade of experience in genealogy research and document translation, I provide personalized services for clients looking to discover their Norwegian, Swedish or German roots. My attention to detail and dedication to accuracy set me apart from competitors, ensuring high-quality results every time.

What began as a personal quest evolved into a full-fledged consultancy based in the heart of Värmland, Sweden. In my free time, I collect old photo albums and research their histories, tracing living relatives who might cherish these forgotten photographs. Specializing in tracing ancestry and providing document translations, my business thrives on the authenticity and depth of the stories waiting to be discovered.

Are you searching for your Norwegian, Swedish, or German ancestors? Do you have a document that needs translation?

Tracing family histories and uncovering lost stories - this is where I come in. Connecting generations - one story at a time.
